Project Overview

We are hiring a Forward Deployed Engineer Intern to work at the intersection of engineering, user needs, and real-world implementation. This role is hands-on, fast-paced, and user-focused—where model performance, deployment quality, and delivery speed matter.

You will work directly with the founding team, engineers, mentors, and early users to deploy AI-driven features, solve real user problems, and convert prototypes into scalable products.

This is a high-impact, high-ownership role that blends full-stack development, deployment strategy, problem-solving, and structured execution.

Core Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end implementation of engineering projects—from prototype to deployment-ready build.
• Build full-stack systems that improve user workflow, platform integration, and engagement quality.
• Embed closely with user teams to understand their real challenges and convert them into engineering solutions.
• Scope work clearly, sequence delivery, and remove blockers to maintain execution speed.
• Make trade-offs between scope, speed, and quality to ensure delivery under time constraints.
• Write and debug code directly when clarity, progress, or impact depends on it.
• Convert implemented solutions into reusable tools, modules, or frameworks for future deployments.
• Share deployment insights and user feedback to influence product and engineering roadmaps.
• Improve operational clarity by keeping technical and non-technical teams aligned.

Required Qualifications

• Currently pursuing B.Tech or M.Tech at IIM, (CS/EE/ME/Maths/Data/Interdisciplinary or relevant fields).
• Strong coding skills in Python, JavaScript, or Java, with basic full-stack or backend experience.
• Understanding of APIs, integrations, system deployment, or basic cloud concepts.
• Strong analytical thinking, execution ownership, and problem-solving mindset.
• Ability to communicate effectively across both engineering and user-facing discussions.
• Comfortable working in fast-moving, ambiguous, and high-accountability environments.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)

• Experience in building MVPs, hackathon projects, startup work, or technical deployments.
• Basic understanding of AI/LLM model behavior and how it affects product experience (optional but valuable).
• Knowledge of frameworks like React, FastAPI, Node.js, Firebase, or Flask (beginner level acceptable).
• Experience in translating user problems into engineering solutions.
