7 Last-Minute Tips For JEE Mains 2022.

Throughout the school journey we all aimed to become successful in our life? Some of us aim to become a teacher, some want to be an engineer and some want to be a dancer and the list goes on. When we talk about being an engineer the first thing that hits our mind is being an IITion. In India, IIT and NIT are the top colleges to study engineering. Many of the famous giants have studied from IIT and NITs like Satya Nadella, Sundar Pichai, K Sivan and many more. By seeing their legacy every student feels that urge to become one like them. JEE Main 2022 is going to be conducted in the month of July by the National Testing agency (NTA). Every year, millions of students apply for this exam to become an engineer.

The schedule has been announced by NTA, the exam is going to be held from 21st July to 30th July 2022. Now the preparation for the exam is at its peak. If you are one of those ambitious students to crack this exam then you’re at the right place. Today we’re going to talk on how to prepare for JEE mains.

As now the time is near and your preparation needs to be efficient. Here are 7 tips to prepare for JEE mains:

1. Study Strategically

Like every parent says for every exam since childhood, “Do first, what you know the best”. They’re right, it is the very first mantra to ace your JEE Mains preparation effectively. Prepare notes, start from the topics you’re interested in and categorize all of them accordingly in your preparation from first to last. If you feel any topic is time consuming rather than other? Then go for another and study it later, you will be less pressurized as you would have already completed more of the syllabus by that time.

2. Take enough rest

According to the National Sleep foundation, The average sleeping hours for a healthy mind is 7 to 9 hours a day. But people have a tendency to stay sleep deprived during exam time to get fully prepared for it and that’s a complete myth. We understand, dealing with the pressure of the JEE Main Exam is different from others. But we can’t deny the fact that a human mind needs to rest to perform well and avoid fatigue during preparations. So take at least 7 hours of sleep to prepare with a refreshed mind, that is definitely going to affect your performance and result in the most positive way.

3. Prepare Everyday Time Table

Things go smooth when done systematically. Following a proper procedure will definitely put you closer to your destination. Time Management is the key for everything. Dividing time for every topic will not only help you to study properly but you can also have an overview of your preparation at the end of the day. Like the Nobel Prize winner Alex Carrel has said, “The most efficient way to live reasonably is every morning to make a plan of one’s day and every night to examine the results obtained.”

4. Take Regular Mock Tests

Practice, Practice and Practice everyday. Only studying is not enough to crack JEE Mains 2022. It is necessary to keep on practicing the studied topics by practicing JEE Main level questions everyday. So that your mind will get used to that pattern and you won’t feel anxious during exams. One of the best sources to take a Mock test is InstaPreps-The confidence app by 7 classes. The app provides access to many mock tests. Additionally you can check out the correct answers and where you went wrong in the test. You will definitely see a positive change in your JEE Mains preparations by giving mock tests.

5. Revise and Revise

Studying once is not enough to get a concept clear in mind. A human mind only captures the best, if things were written by ourselves and read multiple times. You should be practicing one topic at least thrice to get it fully absorbed. Study topics everyday and have a quick glance on them at the end of the day or mid of the day whenever suits you. You’re going to see transformation in your productivity super soon.

6. Emphasize on Speed

Having full knowledge about a topic is meaningless unless and until you don't ace your speed while solving it. According to the JEE mains exam pattern, on an average the time to attempt one question should not exceed more than 2 to 3 minutes. Practice everyday and work on the time as well. Challenge yourself everyday to solve a question within a certain period of time and you will get better results.
